Cabanas by the pools can be rented by the day to allow for total relaxation and bars will serve you food and beverages at your leisure.
The Signature
has its own private, gated entrance and also has access from MGM Grand Hotel. It is situated in Harmon Avenue and a short walk from the entrance will bring you to The Strip
and Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace and Bellagio Hotels, right in the Centre of The Strip. The monorail station at MGM Grand runs the length of The Strip to Sahara
Station and there is a bus service running to all hotels and to both outlet malls. Cabs are, of course, plentiful everywhere, including at each Tower
entrance. There is valet parking at each Tower.
While you’re at The Signature, allow our Concierge to take care of your every wish including entertainment, restaurant, and golf reservations. When you’re ready to head back out,

There are only two airlines that fly direct to Las Vegas from the UK.
Virgin Atlantic, Virgin
Holidays and
British Airways, flying from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester. You can book inclusive
holidays with these companies or flight only and then book the hotel separately if you prefer. If you book an inclusive holiday then the cost of the transfers can be included. If not
the taxi fare to most of The Strip properties should not come to more than $20 each trip.
All US airlines and many Worldwide airlines fly to Las Vegas as well but all go via a hub in Europe or in the US. If price is important then it may be worthwhile doing this but always
bear in mind that a delayed flight could mean a delayed connection (maybe even an overnight stay in the worst case scenario) and that is not a good start to a holiday.
Virgin Atlantic fly daily from Gatwick South Terminal, flights are approximately 10.45 hrs outbound and 9.50 hrs inbound. Manchester flights are only available on a few days
each week with the flight times just slightly shorter than Gatwick. All flights have seatback entertainment. It is possible to book extra legroom seats a few weeks before departure
for a cost of £30 per person each way. Exit row seats cost £50 and can only be allocated at the airport. The flight has four sets of twos at the back of the aircraft and if you book early enough you should be able to prebook these. Some will also become available at the online checkin 24 hours prior to departure and you can change your seats online.
British Airways
fly daily from Heathrow. Flight times are similar to Gatwick and Manchester flights.
All Virgin Atlantic and British Airways flights fly to McCarran International Airport.
ESTA
You will need to acquire an online visa before you travel, called an ESTA, in order to enter the United States. Currently the cost is $14 per person. It lasts two years and they will remind you by email when it is due to
run out. (https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/)
ATOL
ATOL is a financial protection scheme for holidaymakers. If an ATOL tour operator fails, the ATOL scheme ensures customers contracted with the ATOL holder for an air package or a flight, do not lose the money paid over or are not stranded abroad.

Insurance is very important and is a real necessity in the US. Treatment is very expensive. You should ensure that any company you book with is a member of ABTA or ATOL and if you book
with a credit card that also gives you extra protection. Some insurance policies include airline failure as an extra but bear in mind that if you book flights and accommodation separately you need to ascertain
that both are covered in the event of airline failure if the hotel portion is a significant amount of money and cannot be cancelled with a full refund. In other words, do your homework before you go so there
are no nasty surprises in store.
The best months to travel are April, May, June, September and October. July and August are very hot and the
winter months can be cool but with glorious blue skies most days. (www.wunderground.com) has an almanac that will allow you to check any given date over the last
years to see exactly what the weather was like so you can check before booking and know roughly what to expect. Because of the dry heat you find hardly any
flies, wasps, mosquitoes or anything of that ilk to ruin your outdoor entertainment.
The closer you sit to the exit on the plane the quicker you will get through customs in Las Vegas as the
queues can be bad. Luggage comes out fairly quickly and once you are out of the airport there are shuttle buses which go to all hotels for approximately $6.50 per person or the taxi rank
is just to the left outside the terminal. If there are two or more people it is always better to just take a cab but bear in mind the tips
below for cab drivers. It can sometimes take a while
for the shuttle to reach your hotel if they have drops offs before you. There is now also a local bus service which departs from the domestic terminal (a short walk) and goes Downtown (Fremont
Street) if you are staying in that area.
Always tell the cab driver not to use the tunnel which is the long way around and that it's not
your first time in Las Vegas as they are notorious for hiking up the fares and 'longhauling' you. For any hotel centre Strip the fare shouldn't be more than $20.
